Beginning of 2020 brought hell lot of professional and personal uncertainties and frustrations due to the crazy Covid-19 pandemic. When lock-down and Work from home started no one was sure how worse, it is going to be. However, I committed to myself that whatever it might come:-
v I would remain focused and positive, and
v I would keep myself healthy and fit.
I set some deliverable to follow these commitments. One of them is –
ü To learn solving 10 different kind of Rubik’s Cube – (achieved)
o and Solve all of these in a particular time limit – (on track, need improvement)
While solving Rubik’s Cubes, I learned these are not only best stress buster and mind bender but also gives lessons to be hopeful and positive and that all the problems has solution. I summaries my learnings in 10 points corporate lesson. My preferred one is no. 8:-
1) Meet and match your Teammates / Colleagues (Family / Neighbors) . This is the first and foremost step to build a perfect work place (House).
2) Sometimes you have to turn (change) yourself upside down to fit in right place.
3) You might be disoriented but there is always a perfect place for you, right moves always put you back in your place.
4) The path to success is not always straight and there are no shortcuts. You need to move away from the easy visible path to achieve target.
5) There are different positions, but each position plays important role to keep the team together.
6) Leaders (centerpiece) must be steady and let their team move around freely while guiding towards the goal.
7) You build the organization (House) layer by layer. Being in top is hard & complex but mind it you cannot be placed correctly at top unless build the bottom correctly.
8) Your one wrong move can unsettle many others. Be mindful of impacts of your actions.
9) You can be at correct place but appears to be misplaced. Appearance is important for organization to look successful.
10) Success can be achieved by discipline and following expert’s guidance. It is rare to be successful by chance.
